Robert McClendon acts as a Senior Project Manager. He is capable of handling all phases of the development process and is in contact with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, city departments and all other job participants on a regular basis throughout the country. Mr. McClendon interacts in all aspects of the project development process and directly manages the entire design, entitlement and construction phases of our industrial and build-to-suit projects.

Mr. McClendon has been with McMahon Development Group/McMahon Oliphant Properties, Inc. for over seven years and has completed 24 industrial projects, including 16 FedEx build-to-suits, and several other commercial and office buildings. Prior to joining the McMahon team, he worked as a Project Manager for five different firms. Throughout his twenty-four year career, Robert has encountered many complex development issues and has successfully resolved them. He has been responsible for staffing and managing personnel as well as negotiating contracts. Mr. McClendon has also assisted in lease negotiations and other administrative tasks as needed for each project he was involved with. Robert's vast experience makes him an effective manager and team leader from proposal through completion of construction and tenant move-in.

In his career, he has been directly involved with the development and construction of more than 7,000,000 square feet of commercial and industrial space. Additionally, he has developed over 1,000 acres of planned commercial/industrial subdivisions and business parks.

Mr. McClendon graduated from California State University – Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Real Estate Finance. He also received a Certificate in Commercial/Industrial Development Management from the University of California at Irvine. He is currently an associate member of the Urban Land Institute.
