Kent Gregory heads up the Atlanta, Georgia office of McMahon Development Group and is responsible for the national corporate relationships. His specialty is build-to-suit and financial structuring of projects.
Mr. Gregory started his professional career with IBM in sales, progressing to sales and branch manager before moving to various headquarters and product development positions.
Mr. Gregory was recruited into real estate by Trammell Crow Corporate Services to focus on Fortune 500 accounts. For almost four years he worked closely with corporate real estate executives to provide a wide variety of products.
In 1992, OPUS recruited Mr. Gregory as Executive in Charge of National Clients to create a marketing and delivery system designed to expand its build-to-suit business with national firms.
In 1997 he was recruited by CarrAmerica Realty Corporation as Managing Director of National Accounts and was responsible for providing a full array of space and services solutions to their largest clients. While at CarrAmerica, he held positions on both the Operating and Investment Committees.
Over his career, Mr. Gregory's specialty has been build-to-suit (BTS) development. Kent has developed over 12 million square feet of build-to-suits over his career. His client list is comprised of well-known corporate names such as PPG, GE, HP, Maytag, United HealthCare, EDS, Whirlpool, 3Com and others.
Mr. Gregory has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota and an MBA from Pace University in New York City. He was the founder of the Minnesota Real Estate Institute in Minneapolis and has a Masters in Corporate Real Estate from the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Institutes. Additionally, Mr. Gregory has been published in a number of State Real Estate Journals.
